& Conditions
When
you register for the 2025 New Zealand Masters Games, you are confirming
that you understand and accept our terms and conditions:
- You must be a
minimum of 20 years old to register for the Games and have attained the minimum
age specified for any sport you wish to enter by the date specified. Supporter passes
are available for people 18 years and older.
- Registration
and sports entry fees are paid online at nzmg.com using a credit or debit card.
We don’t accept cash or cheque. You can read our payment partner’s Privacy
Policy here.
- You must
visit the Ricoh Check-in Centre at the Games Village in person to check in and
collect your Accreditation Pass. You must present your Accreditation Pass to
enter the Games Village in the evening. We will replace lost/damaged passes for
a small fee.
- Before
entering any sport or activity, please consider what’s involved, i.e., the physical
demands and any potential Health & Safety risks, including environmental
hazards. We recommend only entering events where you feel confident that you
are physically capable of participating safely and without threat to your
health. Information about each sport is available at NZMG.com/sports
- Participation
is at your own risk - Games and sport organisers are not responsible for any
illness or injuries sustained during the Games. If you become ill or injured,
you must notify the sports organiser and seek first aid care on-site or, if
necessary, at the accident and emergency department at Te Whatu Ora Whanganui.
- Registration
and sports entry fees exclude insurance, including medical or travel insurance.
You are responsible for all costs associated with participating in the Games.
- You must abide
by sports rules and instructions, and if not, you may be disqualified from the Games
with no right to a refund of your sports entry or registration fees.
- Anti-social
behaviour is unacceptable at sport venues and the Games Village. It may result
in disqualification and trespassing with no right to a refund of your registration
and sports entry fees.
- Organisers reserve the right to alter the days and times
of an advertised sports event if conditions warrant, e.g., bad weather.
- Unless
medically prescribed, performance-enhancing classified substances are banned.
- Photographs or videos taken of you while participating
in the Games (sports and Games Village) may be used in our Games promotional
materials without any notice, compensation or approval.
- Your personal and sports details are held by us and
given to the Sport Partner relating to the events you have entered. We may forward
your details to Games sponsors and to organisers of other Masters Games, who
may use them for promotional purposes.
- You have the right to request access to and correct
any personal information we hold for you. You can opt-out of promotional emails
by clicking “unsubscribe” at the bottom of any email.
- You must comply with all legislative requirements,
including COVID-19 requirements.
